Self-assembling biomaterials at SFB 2023

Together with Greg Hudalla of UF BME, Felipe is organizing a session on Bioinspired approaches to Supramolecular Biomaterials for SFB 2023 in San Diego. Abstracts are due November 1, 2022, and should be submitted on the SFB website.

About this session: Progress in cell and protein biology are fueling innovation of increasingly sophisticated and functional self-assembling, supramolecular biomaterials. Molecular-level control over their self-assembly dynamics and overall material/biological properties offers novel opportunities for cellular engineering, drug delivery, and tissue regeneration. This session will stimulate progress on cutting-edge bioinspired approaches to engineer the functionality, self-assembly dynamics, and stimuli-responsiveness of supramolecular biomaterials.
