As part of the program Regresando a Casa (Coming Back Home in English), offered to select CES University alumni, Felipe was invited to visit the rapidly-growing campus of CES University in Medellin, Colombia. At CES, Felipe gave two talks. One focused on his research in genetically-encoded materials and their self-assembly through liquid-liquid phase separation, while the other one was directed to motivate young undergraduate students about the exciting possibilities that lie ahead in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
If you are fluent in Spanish, check out this interview with CES radio. Marcela Lopera, from CES radio, talks to Felipe about the evolution of his career: all the way from high school to his current role as Assistant Professor in Coulter BME.
Here is a short video from that visit.
